New days, New chances !

Happy new year !, if you’re reading this you definitely crossed over to the new year in God’s ever sufficient grace. Its a new year,its a new day,its a clean slate,its a fresh start,a beginning of magnificent transformation, you’re alive,the sun shining, you’re smiling. Its page 1 of 365.

 

If you’re anything like me,you’re scared of change and making big decisions and stepping out of your comfort zone,because you know its just so cozy in there so you tell yourself you’re not mentally ready and you work around the “big decision” and never actually get around to making the big change. Here’s the thing, you go on like this and keep convincing yourself that when you’re ready you’ll know , the change can wait,you say that to yourself long enough and you start believing it and before you know it another 365 days have flashed by and you’re still stuck where you started,then you do the resolution thing and tell yourself this is it ! You’re making the needed change. Yeah,right .It only lasts for as long as a week or two while you’re still feeling the new year thing before it wears off and the cycle begins again.. Arrgh, reminds you of anyone you know? I bet it does.

 

Well this year doesn’t have to be that way, you know?..Its a new year and all and you wanna challenge yourself and set big goals and make resolutions and its okay to feel overwhelmed after a while and maybe scared. Start somewhere. Take baby steps. Challenge yourself. That thing you’re scared of doing?,try it out; it can only go wrong or right but if you keep standing on the edge you’ll never know. Do it for you.  Take chances. So you failed last year? Study harder. Develop a relationship with God. Dream big. Wish on 11:11. Forget the worries of ’15 and stop looking back. Pull yourself back up because it does get better.

 

I hope that in 2016 you find what you’re looking for. I hope you find happiness in ordinary things and joy in selflessness,the right path,a new friend, true love,hope,memories you’ll never forget and most of all,I hope you find yourself and the year turns out good. Enjoy the ride.
